The Three Tuns Staple is a quintessential Country Inn dating back to 1712 with grounds of approx 3 acres, set amongst the fruit orchards and farms of rural Kent in the delightful small village of Staple , just outside Wingham. As a privately owned Country Inn we are able to offer a greater degree of personal service. Our focus is on freshly prepared food sourced from local suppliers, at times direct from organic farms in our area.
It has an excellent traditional bar, a restaurant and en suite B&B accommodation. Only 5 miles from the medieval cinque port of Sandwich, the Pfizer UK headquarters and 8 miles from the historic city of Canterbury . Ferry, Channel Tunnel and Kent International Airport links to continental Europe are only a matter of minutes away. An ideal stopover for a rural break, golfing, fishing or bird watching holiday.
Excellent en suite B&B accommodation is available from £45 to £85 a night and free WiFi access and car parking is available for guests.
The first class restaurant is open daily and an A la Carte Menu is offered on Friday and Saturday evenings. Home-cooked Sunday lunches are available throughout the year. There is normally live Jazz on Sunday afternoons. A comprehensive Wine List is offered and 'real' ale is always on available from the fully stocked cellar.
